It all begins with a dream, with dreams comes creativity.

Dreams are beautiful because they can teach us to grow, learn, research, share, reach goals, have hope and inspire.

They may not always come true but they take us on amazing journeys and can lead us on to others. Here I share some creative design journeys.

Years ago, back in Interior Design school, we were asked to take one ad/photo from a magazine and design a space around it.

I choose this ad, shown, from a favourite brand HERMES.

The ad was called ~ Overture in Silk ~

Shown in plan, elevations and 3D hand drawings and presented on Mylar with markers.

I still love this space, it still feels current, except for the fact that it is all hand drawn, in today’s industry I might chosen to present it in a 3D computer generated version.

It helps to know both in the design industry.

It was a fabulous dream project! Still in LOVE with Hermes today, such a creative brand!:)

Contemporary Office Interiors Ltd. offered their showroom space as the site for a hospitality project,

required to develop the space as an innovative restaurant and lounge facility.

In addition, Contemporary Office Interiors, in conjunction with Herman Miller Canada Inc., proposed a competition.

Three projects were selected that best represented the project objectives and illustrated unique conceptual development.

The three projects were then evaluated by a jury of design professionals.

Selected, A Saiefs as best of the juried exhibit.
